Standard Horizon MATRIX GX1280S VHF Marine Radio
MATRIX
GX1280S
Leading the industry again with the Enhanced RAM+
capablity!
The STANDARD
HORIZON MATRIX introduces a whole new level of Digital
Selective Calling, Position Polling and second station flexibility
with the Enhanced RAM+ microphone.
|
Enhanced RAM+
capable
The MATRIX has the capability of being connected
to the Enhanced full-function Remote Access Microphone (RAM+ Mic). This
advance remote operates as a full second station to the MATRIX at the
fly bridge, cockpit, tower or location of your choice. The submersible
RAM+ has a huge channel display, speaker microphone that allows the user
to remotely control all VHF radio functions, Digital Selective Calling
functions and can show channel names and repeat GPS information.
Full Digital
Selective Calling
The most important reason to have a VHF radio on
board your vessel is safety. The MATRIX meets the internationally
recognized requirements for RTCM SC-101 Digital Selective Calling. In an
emergency the MATRIX is capable of transmitting and automated Digital
MAYDAY transmission that includes GPS position and Date and time (when
connected to GPS). The MATRIX also can transmit and receive DSC Urgency,
Safety, Group and Individual calls. DSC
Polling
STANDARD HORIZON has pioneered the capability to
poll (request and send) the GPS location of another vessel and show the
position of that vessel on the VHF's display. Standard Horizon has taken
this feature one step further, if any Standard Horizon GPS is connected
to the MATRIX the polled position of the vessel is shown on the display
of the GPS chart plotter making it easy to navigate to the location of
the polled vessel. This is a great feature for anyone wanting to know
the position of anther vessel for example you buddy that is catching
fish, or finding the location of a person you are cruising with.
NOAA WX Alert,
DW, Scanning and more
The MATRIX has the capability to warn you of
impeding severe weather by audibly alerting you to switch to the active
weather channel. Want to monitor more than one channel? The MATRIX can
be programmed to scan any number or combination of channels with or
without priority channel. Want to scan between one channel and CH16, you
can using the Dual Watch function. Changing channels and operating the
DSC functions is made easy with the oversized channel selector knob and
alpha-numeric display. Built Better,
backed better
Because the MATRIX is built better it’s backed
better. If the STANDARD HORIZON MATRIX fails for any reason (including
water damage) during normal use in the first 3 years of ownership,
STANDARD HORIZON will repair or replace it for free, without hassles or
charges. If it fails anytime thereafter in normal use, for as long as
the customer owns the radio, STANDARD HORIZON’s “Lifetime Rate Service,
“Customer Loyalty Policy” Programs will cover it. The flat rate is
determined at the time of the original
purchase. |
